What is the difference between Hydrology and Irrigation ?

 Hydrology

        The Hydrology is a branch of science in which we study about occurrence, distribution and circulation of water related to earth.

Hydrological cycle 

        If we represents the occurrence, circulation and distribution of water related to earth in a cyclic form is called as hydrological cycle.

Irrigation 

                   Irrigation is artificially supplying of water to the plants. whatever quantity of water we have collected or estimated in study of hydrology, we have to use it judiciously so that we can get optimum benefits of it.
